Natural News readers and fans have changed the world with CLEAN FOOD victories galore

As the entire world falls apart around us by the day, it seems, it’s worth remembering that we’ve done something amazing together over the past 10 years or so: We’ve achieved remarkable success in revolutionizing the food industry toward “clean food.”
Just think about all the victories we’ve helped achieve together (along with other amazing organizations like ANH-USA, the Organic Consumers Association, Cornucopia and many more):
  • Food consumers are now extremely aware that food products from China are often heavily contaminated.
  • Food transparency has skyrocketed, with many organic food and supplement producers now touting the traceability and origins of their ingredients. (Such as One Degree Foods or Gaia Herbs.)
  • The Non-GMO Project Verified program is a runaway success, due in large part to the increased awareness of the dangers of genetically engineered foods to both human health and the environment.
  • California recently added glyphosate to its Prop 65 list of known carcinogens, and consumer awareness about the dangers of glyphosate (a toxic weedkiller sprayed on food crops like wheat and barley) is exploding. (Read Glyphosate.news for more coverage.)
  • Consumer demand for sodas has plummeted in the last decade, and almost everyone is now aware of the dangers of high-fructose corn syrup.
  • You can now buy a huge selection of organic produce at Wal-Mart. This was unthinkable a decade ago.
  • The fast food industry is achieving great success with cleaner ingredients and the elimination of chemical additives. Chipotle and other fast food chains are pushing toward more accountability in their supply chains as well as avoidance of GMOs.
  • The launch of the CWC Labs and subsequent publishing of Food Forensics, my science book that details the heavy metals testing results for 800+ foods, spices and supplements, was a breakthrough for decentralized food science and food transparency for the public. (Another book is coming soon…)
  • Coconut oil has become so popular and widely available that the American Heart Association — a front group of dishonest shills for the pharmaceutical industry — have had to resort to desperate “negative P.R.” attacks that ridiculously claim coconut oil is bad for you. (I know, we can’t stop laughing either… the AHA is the same group of nutritionally illiterate anti-science quacks who told everybody to eat genetically modified, partially-hydrogenated soybean oil, claiming it was healthier than butter!)
  • The mainstream media is now openly attacking the “clean food movement” by claiming there’s no such thing as “clean food” and that everybody should eat more pesticides, herbicides, toxic chemical additives, heavy metals and GMOs. This alone is one of the greatest signs of the remarkable victory we have achieved together.
I can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish in the next ten years! Thank you for all your support as we’ve battled incredible censorship, oppression, cyber attacks and death threats. There are powerful, destructive forces in our world that have wanted to silence Natural News for years… but they’ve failed every time.
That’s because everybody wants to know the truth about what they’re eating. And Natural News is the most authoritative, honest and independent online destination in the world where people can discover that truth. Keep reading, and we’ll keep bringing you the truths you need to know about food, medicine, ingredients and more.

Clean eating now considered a “dangerous fad” by nutritionally illiterate doctors

Clean eating has become a way of life for many people around the world. This way of eating focuses on consuming whole foods that are not processed or refined; this can be anything that is as close to its natural form as possible, like fresh produce and raw nuts. This is an undeniably healthy way of eating – and there are plenty of studies that back this – so why are some doctors calling it a dangerous fad?
In a recent piece for the Daily Mail, Dr. Max Pemberton rakes clean eating over the coals. He talks about patients who are emaciated, describing them using frightening terms and explaining in great detail about how their bones are sticking out, their necks can’t support their heads, and their bodies are eating their own muscles. He talks about young girls whose reproductive systems have stopped working and who have developed osteoporosis, bleeding throats and lost teeth.
This is certainly an outcome that no one wants, but what he is describing here are people who have eating disorders, not people who focus on eating clean foods. The desire to eat healthy is not disordered eating, and lumping the two together is dangerous as it may give those who prefer to eat junk food an excuse to continue on their path to diabetes, obesity, and early death.
It’s particularly concerning when he writes: “The central tenet, the very nugget at the core of its belief system, is flawed. The very notion of ‘clean’ eating suggests that some food is dirty or bad — and this simply isn’t the case.”
Countless researchers would beg to differ. Some food really is bad, and it’s very irresponsible for a doctor to say that’s not the case. A trans fat-filled Burger King Triple Whopper, a sugar-laden venti Starbucks Frappuccino, and a can of corrosive Coca-Cola are just a few of the “bad” foods that come to mind.
He closed his piece with another gem: “But be under no illusion: ‘clean eating’ is ugly, malevolent and damaging. The whole irony of the clean eating fad is that, despite what it purports to be, it’s fundamentally toxic.”
No, Dr. Pemberton, what’s toxic is high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, boxed macaroni and cheese, and GM soy.

Eating disorders and clean eating are not one and the same

He’s right that social media is causing all sorts of eating problems for people, from constant images of bodies most normal people can never hope to attain to round-the-clock posts of the latest meals, healthy or otherwise, that everyone on your friends list is eating. But blogs about clean eating are not telling young women to head to the bathroom and vomit up their lunch if they slip up.
Of course, some people take it too far. People who are prone to eating disorders can – and often do – start out by eating healthy in an attempt to lose weight. If a person has underlying issues, there is no doubt that this could well lead to obsessions over healthy food and body weight and end up becoming a full-fledged eating disorder.
But there are also countless people who have committed to giving up processed foods in the interest of being healthy, and most of them can enjoy a piece of cake on their birthday without feeling compelled to stick their fingers down their throat afterward. Most clean eaters do not have any sort of eating disorder or mental illness and will never develop one. They are simply eating a healthy diet, which is something that more responsible doctors encourage their patients to do.
It’s true that some people who have eating disorders might hide behind an interest in only consuming healthy foods so family and friends won’t interfere with their habits. Having an eating disorder is a very serious problem that absolutely needs to be addressed, but suggesting that clean eating and bulimia are one and the same and that there is no such thing as “bad” food is incredibly irresponsible.

Health Ranger posts heavy metals test results for 364 more water samples from across America: Lead, Copper, Arsenic and Aluminum numbers

Image: Health Ranger posts heavy metals test results for 364 more water samples from across America: Lead, Copper, Arsenic and Aluminum numbers

THANK YOU to all the Natural News readers and fans who submitted water samples to our lab for ICP-MS testing. Over the last year, we’ve processed over 600 water samples, and we’ve recently updated the 2017 numbers to include the most recent samples. Now, we have 364 water samples in 2017 alone, all tested for heavy metals like copper, arsenic and lead. We’ve also begun including aluminum results, given the very high level of interest in aluminum and its neurotoxicity.
You can view the 2017 water sample test results chart, sorted by zip code, at the following link at the Natural Science Journal:
Some of the more notable results we found are listed below. Many of these results violate EPA water quality limits and expose potentially millions of Americans to toxic heavy metals in municipal water. (Why is nobody else conducting these tests? Why does the EPA cover this up?)
  • 413 ppb aluminum in zip code 06897
  • 1048 ppb aluminum in zip code 18371
  • 704 ppb copper in zip code 44035
  • 1117 ppb copper in zip code 51025
  • 1528 ppb copper in zip code 55418
  • 41 ppb lead in zip code 64836
  • A shocking 120 ppb lead in zip code 85086
  • 15 ppb arsenic in zip code 86351
  • 51 ppb lead in zip code 92103
Note that CWC Labs donated all the lab time and materials for these tests in an effort to help expose the toxic heavy metals in America’s water supply. Also note that the corrupt EPA routinely covers up this scientific evidence, refusing to tell the American people that they are drinking poison. (Related: Follow all the news headlines on clean water at CleanWater.news.)

Natural News is willing to take over the nationwide testing of the water supply from the incompetent EPA

Frankly, I think Natural News should take over the entire job of the EPA in terms of testing the national water supply. I’m going to announce an offer to President Trump, explaining that we will test the entire national water supply and publish all the results for just $1 per year. Scott Pruitt can then fire all the incompetent, corrupt EPA officials who are covering up the toxic heavy metals in the water, saving taxpayers tens of millions of dollars a year.
I’m serious about this: I’m willing to handle up to 5,000 water samples per year for the American people and conduct this testing for a grand total of just one dollar. The caveat is that I refuse to cover up the results. If I do this for essentially free, I will publish all the results to the public, without any censorship of any kind.
This is the new science that America desperately needs: Honest, independent science that exposes all the cover-ups that have been pushed by corrupt, incompetent government. The EPA is a junk science cesspool of waste and fraud. It’s time to make it obsolete and send its corrupt bureaucrats packing.
If someone from Scott Pruitt’s office wants to contact us about this, please do so. I’m not joking about this. We will test the entire national water supply via ICP-MS — up to 5,000 samples per year — for just $1 per year. The fact that we have already tested over 600 samples from across the country proves that we can do this. Plus, we’re ISO-17025 accredited and increasingly recognized as one of the most accurate analytical labs in the world when it comes to heavy metals in food and water.
Visit CWC Labs at CWClabs.com. If you want to test your own water, supplements, hair or food items for heavy metals, check out our ICP-MS heavy metals test kits from the Health Ranger store.

Pollution is “devastating” China’s natural ecosystem and contaminating its food supply

Anyone who has breathed the thick air on the streets of Shanghai or has seen photos of smog obscuring the Beijing skyline can confirm that pollution is a serious problem in China. Now, researchers have uncovered the precise extent to which manmade pollution is impacting China’s natural ecosystem, and its effects can be summed up in just one word: Devastating.
The study, which was led by the University of Exeter and published in the journal Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, examined the true impact that air pollution has had on the local vegetation. In particular, they looked into the effects of aerosol particles and surface ozone on plants in the country and their ability to store and absorb carbon from the atmosphere.
The researchers revealed that the amount of carbon that plants can take in drops significantly as surface ozone rises, and this outweighs any effect that aerosol particles might have when it comes to spurring plants to boost their carbon intake. They warned that the only way to turn the situation around is by taking drastic action, and even then, they estimate that the damage to the country’s ecosystem could only be reduced by around 70 percent.
Of course, getting the situation to change in China seems like a long shot. A recent inspection found that more than 70 percent of Beijing companies violated air pollution regulations. The list of offenses was vast, including pumping out more emissions than permitted, using inadequate pollution control equipment, and operating without the proper licenses. The number of companies that did not meet environmental standards in the area exceeded 13,000.
There appear to be two problems at play here. The first is that firms simply ignore environmental protection policies, and this is compounded by the fact that officials do very little to enforce them.

With so much pollution, how can any food from China be safe?

It’s not just the air that is polluted in China; water and soil pollution are also impacting the nation’s food supply. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, there is not a single clean river in China, and more than half of its groundwater resources are severely contaminated. Four-fifths of the country’s major rivers are in such bad shape that they can no longer support fish or marine life.
An official government study shows that around 16 percent of the soil in China and 19.4 percent of its arable land is contaminated, with top pollutants identified as nickel, cadmium, and arsenic. All of this pollution is creating a toxic supply of food in the country, some of which makes its way to our shores.
In fact, a recent book by Natural News founder Mike Adams, Food Forensics, exposed how many of the foods and dietary supplements sold in our country that are imported from China are full of toxic heavy metals such as mercury and lead. His lab also found that certified organic rice protein imported from China contained significant contamination from industrial heavy metals like lead, tungsten and cadmium.
Adams wrote: “There are thousands of certified organic proteins, superfoods, herbal supplements and other products being imported into the United States and sold as ‘organic’ even though they are heavily contaminated with toxic heavy metals.
“In my own ICP-MS laboratory, I’m seeing very high levels of lead and cadmium in all sorts of products imported from China, including rice protein and Ginkgo Biloba herbal supplements.”
He pointed out that these superfoods and herbs produced in China can be imported into our country despite their heavy metal content because the USDA and FDA do not have any limits on the amount of heavy metals allowed in food. This is just one of many reasons it is vital to check the sources of everything you buy.

After being falsely accused, Natural News releases full lab test results for Indus Organics turmeric powder

Here’s a truly hilarious piece of drama from the world of organic products. In posting a recent article about Amazon.com buying Whole Foods, I mentioned three turmeric products sold by Amazon.com that contained lead, a heavy metal that can be extremely toxic when consumed in high concentrations. This wasn’t some all-out attack on the brands mentioned, by the way; it was just a demonstration that Amazon.com doesn’t test the products it sells. As a result, Amazon ends up selling a lot of food, supplements and dietary products that contain rather concerning levels of lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic and other metals or elements.
One of the brands I mentioned in the story was Indus Organics, whose turmeric powder tested at over 225 ppb lead for Lead-206 (Pb-206).
In response to the article, someone claiming to be from Indus Organics threatened to sue Natural News if we didn’t immediately remove that assertion, claiming that the product contained no lead at all. Here’s where the laughable scientifically illiteracy really comes out, by the way: Almost nothing is 100% free of all lead. Anyone who thinks their products contain “no lead” whatsoever isn’t very well informed on matters of food composition. (Then again, some other companies use labs that actually try to find no lead by relying on outdated equipment incapable of detecting lead at ppb concentrations.)
In any case, in all the years that Natural News has been conducting independent science and publishing the ICP-MS test results for various brand names, not once have we ever been proven wrong. Not once have we been successfully sued. Not once have we had to retract even a single published heavy metals concentration number, including across the 800+ products tested and listed in my top-selling science book Food Forensics.
Why is that? Because our lab — CWCLabs.com — is an ISO-accredited laboratory specializing in analytical excellence for food and environmental samples. The accreditation means we are tested by third-party independent organizations and audited with on-site inspectors. Not only do we know exactly what we are doing when it comes to heavy metals, some of the leading food organizations in the industry are now coming to us to help validate new metals analysis methods because our reputation is that we’re the most dedicated and accurate food science lab in the industry. (I just spent four months scripting our new liquid handling robot, by the way, which adds even more automation and accuracy to all our sample prep and external standards preparation processes.)
With that in mind, I’ve decided to release the full ICP-MS elemental analysis results for the Indus Organics turmeric, so you can see not just the lead it contains but also the other elements it contains such as cadmium, zinc and so on. I’m also reaching out to Indus Organics to see if they would like us to help them with their science and even possibly carry their products in our store (once they meet our strict requirements). So this isn’t some sort of “attack” on Indus.
By the way, neither the cadmium nor lead levels in their turmeric product are in the “red alert” level at all. These are nowhere near the highest numbers we’ve seen in turmeric products, for example. But for someone to say this product contains “no lead” is factually false and scientifically ignorant. (All turmeric contains lead. It’s just a question of how high the concentration is. That’s why I stock up on “clean” turmeric whenever I find a clean batch, which is becoming increasingly difficult…)

Here’s a photo of the actual Indus Organics product we tested, purchased from Amazon.com:
Note that this product apparently has no lot number. The bar code on the front is the product bar code, not a production lot number. On the bottom of the product, there’s a sticker that describes a “use by” date, but there’s no lot number accompanying it:
Unless I’m missing something here, having no visible lot number on the product would mean Indus Organics is non-compliant with basic FDA regulations for food safety. How can a company sell products to the public with no lot number on them? How does a company issue a recall for a contamination issue if they don’t even have lot numbers? How do they even track which lot of raw materials went into which production lots? If it’s true that this product has no lot number on it, there’s no question in my mind that it violates FDA food safety regulations.

Bottom line: Natural News testing results are trusted by millions of readers for the simple reason that they’re irrefutable

The takeaway from all this is that when Natural News publishes heavy metals lab testing results, you can take those results to the bank. Nobody is more dedicated to clean food science than Natural News. No lab in the world is more accurate and passionate about clean food than my lab, CWC Labs, which is increasingly recognized worldwide for analytical accuracy. I recently co-authored a science paper published in the peer-reviewed LC/GC science journal, by the way. It’s entitled “Liquid Chromatography–Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry for Cannabinoid Profiling and Quantitation in Hemp Oil Extracts.”
If you want to know the truth about what’s really in your food, spices, supplements and dog food, then get ready for a massive release of new data this year. We’re ramping up for a huge release of more lab testing numbers for off-the-shelf products, including chocolate bars, dog food and more.

Amazon buys Whole Foods, creating the world’s largest marketplace of untested health products contaminated with heavy metals and pesticides

Amazon will acquire Whole Foods Market for $42 a share in a deal with a total value of $13.7 billion, according to multiple news reports (including CNBC), creating the world’s largest marketplace for untested health products contaminated with heavy metals and pesticides.
Neither Whole Foods nor Amazon tests every product it sells for heavy metals or pesticides. Both retailers rely on product providers to meet all USDA and FDA product safety requirements, but product manufacturers routinely misrepresent their own products for the simple reason that they almost never conduct their own testing, either. (Their suppliers lie to them, and in turn they lie to Whole Foods, and Whole Foods accepts that chain of lies as “fact” … which is, ironically, the same method by which the Washington Post writes fake news.)

Both Whole Foods and Amazon continue to sell products contaminated with heavy metals

Natural News has conducted extensive testing of off-the-shelf products from both Whole Foods and Amazon and has found alarming levels of toxic heavy metals like LEAD in products being retailed by both companies. Natural News has purchased, tested and identified numerous products sold by Amazon.com that contain alarming levels of toxic heavy metals, including lead and mercury.
For example, Amazon sells numerous ground turmeric root powders that we recently tested via ICP-MS, finding they contain alarming levels of toxic lead:
Personally, I would never sell products with lead levels that high. It doesn’t bother Jeff Bezos, however, who apparently has no limit whatsoever on how much toxic lead, cadmium, mercury or arsenic might be contained in the products they sell for profit.
In 2014, I met with a Whole Foods executive at their headquarters in Austin to hand them heavy metals lab data on the contaminated protein products they were selling. Instead of taking action to remove toxic heavy metals from their products, they ignored the problem and swept the problem under the rug. Whole Foods has since continued to act in a highly unethical manner, selling numerous products on their shelves that are contaminated with lead and other heavy metals.
The lack of ethics at Whole Foods, however, makes the company a perfect match for the lack of ethics at Amazon, another greed-driven retailer that also sells contaminated, toxic health products to unwary consumers. (Have you ever read the ingredients on the foods at the Whole Foods buffet? It’s full of GMOs and pesticides…)

Jeff Bezos turned the Washington Post into FAKE NEWS… will Whole Foods be turned into FAKE FOOD?

Notably, Jeff Bezos, the “Dr. Evil” globalist who purchased Washington Post (i.e. “Bezos’ Blog”) managed to very quickly turn it into a fake news rag that deliberately and maliciously fabricates fake news in an attempt to overthrow America’s constitutional Republic. Under the corruption of Bezos, the Washington Post has invented totally false news stories by citing fabricated “anonymous sources” to smear President Trump at every opportunity.
It only stands to reason that Whole Foods will follow the same path of corruption under Jeff Bezos, where “health foods” will become “fake foods” filled with garbage ingredients and toxic contaminants such as pesticides and lead.
Will Whole Foods even keep its promise to label everything it sells with GMO status by the year 2018? Don’t be surprised if Jeff Bezos withdraws that commitment, given how the Washington Post is in bed with Monsanto, DuPont and every evil manufacturer of GMOs and pesticide chemicals. The Washington Post “science” section reads like a public relations whorehouse for Monsanto.

Stop shopping at Whole Foods and start supporting smaller grocery chains that aren’t owned by an evil globalist who hates America

What’s the solution in all this? Stop shopping at Whole Foods. It’s about to be owned by an evil, unethical, anti-American globalist who loves Monsanto and hates democracy.
Instead, spend your money at local health food stores, local grocers and smaller grocery chains that offer organic and natural products. Don’t hand your money over to an evil globalist who produces fake news and sells contaminated products on a daily basis.
You can also, of course, shop for non-perishable items at the Health Ranger Store, where everything we sell is laboratory tested and verified before we offer it to the public (which is why we often have shortages on many products because we reject a lot of raw materials).

Global LEAD pollution only appeared on our planet following the industrial revolution: It’s definitely caused by human activity

While the mainstream media and the global elites sensationalize climate change and the impending doom caused by mankind’s “carbon footprint,” there are more serious pollution threats actually impacting human health. The element we should be more concerned about is lead.
It’s ignorant to think that an intergovernmental elite should confiscate the wealth of Nations to control levels of atmospheric gases such as carbon (which is a really a miracle molecule that makes up the basis of most all living things.)
Why aren’t we instead working together to rid the world of pollutants that take a physical and mental toll on our health? Lead contamination of soil, air and water is a serious problem, and its toxic pervasiveness today has been caused by human activity since the industrial age. Human activity such as mining and smelting have brought lead forward, into the soil, water, and air.
According to the World Health Organization, there is no safe level of lead exposure; lead exposure damages the kidneys, liver, bones, and brain. Scientists once believed that lead naturally occurred in the air, caused by earthly processes such as volcanic eruptions. However, scientists from Harvard University now provide geological evidence showing a time period in Earth’s history where lead was not present in the air. Lead has slowly become a problem since the beginning of the industrial age, when human activity began bringing this heavy metal to the forefront.

The human activity and pollutant that we should be concerned about

Author of the study, Alex More, climate scientist at Harvard University, told the Guardian, “We have basically been poisoning ourselves for about 2,000 years.” To make the determination, the researchers extracted an ice column from a glacier in the Swiss Alps and analyzed 43 meters of the ice core. The column of ice they studied began to form during a time period over 2,000 years ago, between 1349 and 1353 during the Black Death era. Bubbles of gas within the ice allow the scientists to analyze the composition of the air at that time in history. Using mass spectrometry and radiocarbon dating, the researchers were able to analyze the air composition month to month, over 2,000 years ago to present.
Chris Loveluck, an archaeologist from the University of Nottingham, said that lead levels were practically non-existent before human mining and smelting activity in Europe. Due to the ice core’s precise geographic location in the middle of civilization, the researchers were able to determine that the lead contribution came from Europe. Even before the 19th century industrial revolution, lead pollution was correlated with human activity. “We have for the first time a lead reading of what it would look like without humans on this part of the planet,” he told the Guardian.
Comparing the data to other historical mining records, the researchers made a strong correlation between mining and smelting operations in Great Britain with the rise in atmospheric lead. The research paper, published in the journal GeoHealth, concluded that human mining and smelting activities are the reason why there is so much lead pollution on the European continent.
This is the kind of human activity and pollution that humans should be concerned about. Airborne lead and this heavy metal’s increasing presence in municipal water sources is direct threat to human brain function and overall health. Visit CWC labs to keep up with important lead testing results from municipal water samples across the U.S. and view the latest results in NaturalScienceJournal.org.

Ten alarming, REAL threats to the environment that are widely ignored by “climate change” advocates

The art of climate fear mongering is rooted in the ability to terrorize the population over threats that hardly matter at all while completely ignoring the REAL threats to our global ecosystem.
Isn’t it interesting how people who shudder in fear over President Trump pulling out of the Paris climate treaty say nothing about Fukushima radiation and the mass pollution of the Pacific Ocean with radionuclides?
Here, I’ve created a short list of ten REAL threats to the environment that are largely ignored by climate change advocates, even when they pose an immediate and serious risk to life on our planet. The next time a climate change cultist berates you and claims you must stop driving you car because the oceans might rise a few inches by the year 2100, remind them that the things listed below are killing life across our planet right NOW.
Where is the media alarm over all these threats to life? It’s practically non-existent.

#1) Fukushima radiation

Mass die-offs in the Pacific Ocean are now commonplace. Toxic fuel rods have melted through the floor of the Fukushima-Daiichi containment building, and radioactive isotopes continue to spill into the Pacific. Six years after the Fukushima accident, the Japanese government still can’t even locate the fuel rods. A containment pool sits ready to be ruptured by the next earthquake or tidal wave, and we’re told the Fukushima cleanup could take 100 years or more. Yet the willfully ignorant mainstream media pretends that nothing happened at Fukushima, even absurdly claiming there was “never a meltdown.”

#2) China’s industrial pollution

Environmentalists are thrilled to attack America’s coal industry, but they give a free pass to China’s incredibly toxic industrial pollution that contaminates the entire Northern hemisphere with heavy metals and particulate pollution. Somehow, China is never called to task for its insane levels of pollution, while the United States has been forced to shut down coal-fired power plants that are orders of magnitude cleaner than China’s toxic coal plants.

#3) Biosludge

If you concentrate all the toxins from human and industrial waste, you get a nasty sludge product called “biosludge.” This product, produced by EVERY city in the United States, is dishonestly re-labeled “fertilizer” and spread on farm fields and dairy forage fields all across America. Nobody seems to be aware of this, which is why I’ve announced an upcoming film called BIOSLUDGED, which will document this insane assault on our environment. Every single environmentalist I’ve talked to about this issue was totally unaware of this practice.

#4) Geoengineering / chemtrails

No, ever contrail in the sky is not an attack on humanity, but there are proven examples of geoengineering taking place. Climate change scientists at Harvard are even openly talking about spraying particulate matter into the atmosphere to block out the sun, and weather modification programs have been run by the U.S. government since 1953. Yet we’re still told it’s all a tin foil hat conspiracy theory. If it’s all harmless, why the cover-up?

#5) Mass deforestation

The clear cutting of trees is without question one of the worst drivers of droughts, reduced snowfall on mountains and climate instability, yet environmentalists rarely point to the cutting of trees as a source of climate problems. Instead, they blame carbon dioxide, the very molecule that’s needed to regrow forests and re-green the planet. The answer to climate problems, it turns out, is largely found in supporting reforestation.

#6) Heavy metals contamination of food and soils

Almost nobody from the “environmental” movement ever talks about heavy metals contamination of our soils and foods. Instead, we’re told that carbon dioxide is the problem… but somehow lead and arsenic in rice crops doesn’t matter at all. This is yet another example of how “climate change” cultists are irrationally preoccupied with delusions while ignoring reality. In the real world, there is lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury in the food supply right now! You are EATING toxic poisons, and many organic superfoods are contaminated beyond belief. It was just three years ago that my lab identified high levels of lead and mercury in the Garden of Life “RAW” rice protein products, which is why Garden of Life abandoned rice protein and switched to pea protein, by the way.

#7) Open air cultivation of genetically engineered crops

Isn’t it interesting how “climate” activists usually ignore the threat posed by GMOs which can spread genetic pollution? Somehow, all this concern about the environment almost never deals with the far more serious threat of genetic pollution from self-replicating organisms that might contaminate the world’s food crops. As much as I appreciate the anti-GMO activists, I keep asking: Where are the “environmentalists” when it comes to GMOs?

#8) Widespread pharmaceutical contamination from manufacturing runoff and consumer flushing

The mainstream media is heavily funded by the pharmaceutiucal companies, which explains why they never run investigative stories exposing the widespread environmental damage caused by Big Pharma’s toxic drugs. It’s not just the drugs you take that end up in the water supply, either: It’s also drug manufacturing operations that flush enormous quantities of toxic pharma chemicals down waterways, polluting rivers and oceans.

#9) Mercury pollution from dental fillings and vaccines

Isn’t it interesting how environmentalists are terrified of mercury in tuna fish but often say nothing at all about mercury being INJECTED into children in the form of Thimerosal, a common vaccine preservative? Similarly, you almost never hear environmentalists talking about the widespread pollution from mercury in dental fillings. Where are the marches against the American Dental Association for refusing to acknowledge the toxicity of mercury in “silver” fillings (which are 50% mercury, by the way, but dentists call them “amalgam” to hide the truth about their composition).

#10) Pesticides and herbicides in the food supply

On this point, you actually do hear environmentalists speaking out, but the media remains almost universally silent about this mass poisoning of the food supply. Somehow, we’re all supposed to be terrified of “climate change” while obediently eating pesticide poisons in our food, oblivious to the reality that we’re killing ourselves right now… never mind a hundred years down the road.

Conclusion: Mainstream “environmentalism” is driven entirely by politics, not scientific evidence of harm

When you realize how mainstream “environmentalism” is all about certain, selected issues largely rooted in delusional thinking while ignoring the REAL threats to our lives, our soils and our planetary ecosystems, it becomes abundantly obvious that mainstream “environmentalism” is a fraud.
Its advocates are bureaucrats, politicians, academic propagandists and “fake news” media mouthpieces. The label of “environmentalism” is used to oppress and control humans rather than solve genuine problems we face across our planet. Instead of acknowledging the threats of pesticides in our food, mercury in modern dentistry and toxic biosludge used as fertilizers on farms, we’re told that only “climate change” deserves our attention, even when its claims are utterly bogus and lacking all credible science in the first place.
If you want to be a real environmentalist, it turns out, you have to reject all mainstream propaganda and work to halt the real sources of pollution and environmental degradation, from mercury dental fillings to GMOs. Only then do you qualify as a true “conservationist” who cares about the planet. Everything else is just virtual signalling and hot air blabbery from ignorant conformists who want their friends to think they’re all about “green” when they’re really just obedient sheeple who repeat propaganda from “official sources.”
