8 Things To Know About Using Dandelion Root

You hear a lot about detox these days, and many recommend dandelion root. Learn what dandelion root can (and cannot) do for you.

What is dandelion root?

Many people look at dandelions as pesky weeds that overtake lawns and gardens, but they’re actually filled with vitamins and minerals and can act as an herbal remedy. “The dandelion plant (the root and leaf are used) is known as a bitter and has all the benefits of bitter herbs, such as priming digestive function for those who may have overeaten, digest poorly, or suffer from post-prandial bloating and fullness [after a meal],” says Michael Brown, a Kansas City-based naturopathic doctor and the founder of Naturae’s Path. “It is also a great botanical for liver and kidney support. It not only enhances the liver’s metabolic and detoxification ability, but it is also protective to the kidneys and is an outstanding natural-medicine diuretic.” Some people drink dandelion tea as part of a detox, but here are some things to consider before you start a detox.

Interesting new research

There haven’t been many studies on the herb, but that’s starting to change. Donese Worden, a naturopathic medical doctor and adjunct faculty at Arizona State University, notes two interesting pieces of new research. One study published in Food and Chemical Toxicology in 2019 discovered new compounds in dandelion root in addition to its other 100 already-known phytochemicals. “Some of these phytochemicals act as antioxidants and anticoagulants, and some have anti-platelet activities, reducing the stickiness of the blood,” she says. The other study, which appeared in the journal Molecular Biology Reports in 2019, found that dandelion root protected the liver and testicular tissues of rats when used before radiation procedures. Worden adds that dandelion root may also protect against photo-aging from UVB rays and help combat obesity, while other research suggests that dandelion root may help fight diabetes and certain types of cancers.

Why people turn to dandelion

“Dandelion extracts have a long history of use, especially in traditional Chinese medicine and Native American medicine,” says Worden. Native Americans used boiled dandelion to treat kidney disease, swelling, skin issues, heartburn, and stomach upset. Traditional Chinese medicine turned to dandelion for stomach problems, appendicitis, and breast issues. And early Europeans used it to remedy fevers, diabetes, and diarrhea.

Dandelions are also chock-full of vitamins, according to the US Department of Agriculture’s Nutrient Database. They’re a great source of vitamins A, C, and K. In fact, just one cup of dandelions has 112 percent daily value of vitamin A, 32 percent vitamin C, and 535 percent vitamin K. These vitamins help to support a healthier immune system, maintain bone health, and regulate blood clotting. Check out these 16 vitamins and supplements doctors actually take every day.

How to use dandelion root

Traditionally, the root was roasted and consumed as a beverage, while the leaves were used in salads, soups, and sandwiches. Today, it’s still used in very much the same way, most popularly in tea and as a coffee substitute that acts as a dandelion-root detox. It’s also available in capsules, powders, and extracts. “I prefer it to be in a tincture (liquid extract) form, and it is best taken in a small amount of water two to three times per day,” says Brown. “My favorite companies for dandelion tinctures would be Wise Woman Herbals, Herb Pharm, and Gaia Herbs.”

Are there any risks?

Dandelion is one of the least problematic medicinal herbs, says Worden, but it does still carry risks for some people. “As with many herbals, not enough is known about dandelion use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so I would suggest not consuming it during this time,” she says. “Also avoid dandelion if you have a known allergy to ragweed, daisies, marigolds, or chrysanthemums. You may also be allergic to dandelion.” It may also counteract antibiotics, decreasing their efficacy, as well as interact negatively with lithium, medications that change liver function, and diuretics. The bottom line: Talk to your doctor to make sure it’s safe for you, especially if you fall into one of the aforementioned categories. Worden adds that if you are given the green light by your physician, the proper dosage will be dependent on your age, health, and other conditions. Be aware of these 12 trusted home remedies that will only make you worse.

You can pick your own

Can a yard overgrown with dandelions be your own personal pharmacy? Maybe. But if you’re not sure that the environment is safe, it’s better to get your dandelions or dandelion extract from a trusted source. “The quality of the product is very important, and I request a Certificate of Analysis on any product that I recommend,” says Worden. “This shows that testing was done to make sure the actual ingredient is there and in an amount that can work. Just as important is documenting that harmful ingredients are not found, such as lead, arsenic, bad bacteria, and fungal growth. You can ask the manufacturer to provide this information for you.”

Dry your own root

Dried and stored correctly, dandelion roots can be kept for up to a year. The process is simple: After picking the roots, soak them in water for several minutes, and then rinse them until completely clean. Chop the roots into small pieces, and roast them in the oven at 200 degrees for about an hour (or until they snap easily). This will shrink and fully dry them out. Then place them in an airtight jar, and use for tea. Here’s the best way to store various herbs.

Introduce dandelion into your diet slowly

As with anything, it takes the body a little while to adjust to new substances, so start with just a little dandelion at first. This can be particularly important, Worden notes, in case you have an allergic reaction. Plus, dandelion is a diuretic, which can throw off your body’s water balance—and increase your need for bathroom breaks. If you opt for the tea, Brown suggests starting with one cup in the morning and then, if desired, going to two to three cups a day over the next couple of weeks. And, of course, you should always follow the recommended dosage provided by the manufacturer if you’ve purchased a product, herbal or otherwise. Don’t miss these 50 natural remedies that really work.

This Extra-Special Golden Milk Recipe Instantly Warms You From the Inside Out

I don't know about you, but I find that there's something special about sipping a hot cup of tea at night. After a long day of work, it helps me decompress and unwind. Suddenly, I find myself grounded. I've sipped plenty of different types of tea over the years, but golden milk is in a category all its own. Well+Good council member Latham Thomas's favorite golden milk recipe is a lightly spiced elixir that's loaded with anti-inflammatory spices sure to bolster your immune system and keep stress at bay.

"Tea is an entry point for mindfulness. When tea is served hot, in an open ceramic cup, we have no choice but to move slowly, patiently—and to be present," says Thomas, founder of Mama Glow. "One of the ways to further support your immune system is to imbibe herbal tonics daily."

What makes golden milk extra special is that it's packed with anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants, all thanks to turmeric. Grown in India, Central America, and other parts of Asia, "turmeric is a spice made from the root of the turmeric plant, which is related to ginger," says Tracy Lockwood Beckerman, RD. Turmeric has been linked to many health benefits, including inflammation reduction, anxiety management, and settling stomach upset. "It can even help relieve soreness after a hard workout,"

The best golden milk recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk, preferably coconut milk or almond milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick
  • 1 (1-inch) piece turmeric, unpeeled, thinly sliced, or 1/2 tsp dried turmeric
  • 1 tsp tulsi (optional)
  • 1 (1/2-inch) piece ginger, unpeeled, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp virgin cold-pressed coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp whole black peppercorns

Ground cinnamon (for serving)

1. Whisk the non-dairy milk, cinnamon stick, turmeric, ginger, maple syrup, coconut oil, peppercorns, and 1 cup water in a small saucepan; bring to a low boil.

2. Reduce heat and simmer until flavors have blended, about 10 minutes.

3. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into mugs and top with a dash of cinnamon.

Golden milk can be made 5 days ahead and stored in an airtight container in the fridge. Warm before serving. Sit still with your cup and sip your golden milk. Focus on being present to the experience you are having, savoring the layers of flavor.

The benefits of turmeric:

Any good golden milk recipe owes some of its warmness to ginger. Like turmeric, ginger has anti-inflammatory properties and can help decrease inflammation and swelling. "Ginger has been used as a traditional remedy for thousands of years to help with digestion, nausea, and help fight flus and colds. It's been known for its healing and medicinal properties for over 5,000 years," says Beckerman. The root's carminative effect can even help with nausea and prevent gas build-up. This is why we love ginger.

The benefits of ginger:

Lastly, the recipe's hint of sweetness is all thanks to cinnamon, which also comes with its own impressive record of benefits. For starters, it's a great circulation booster and can aid digestion. And a little goes a long way, according to herbalist and holistic health practitioner Rachelle Robinett. "A couple of teaspoons of cinnamon can reduce blood sugar by 20 to 30 percent," she says.

The benefits of cinnamon:

If you have a Mason jar or bottle handy, you can start overnight infusions so that they'll be ready for you to consume by morning. "Take a light handful of herbs, handle them in your hand, and smell them. Place them inside the Mason jar, pour hot water over them, seal, and let stand overnight," says Thomas. "By morning, you have a tasty and nutritive tonic."

5 Ways To Eat Bananas for a Flat Belly, According to Science

If an expanding waistline is your problem, research says that eating more fruits and veggies is one of the best solutions. But does that include high-carb fruits like bananas? The short answer is yes! One medium banana has 105 calories, 27 grams of carbs, 3 grams of satiating fiber, and 14 grams of naturally occurring sugar

But beware: Compared to other fruits, bananas are slightly higher in calories and carbs, so no monkey business: stick to one five-inch portion a day. This ensures you'll reap all the fruit's benefits—without expanding your waistline.

1. They're the Perfect Fitness Fuel

A smart weight-loss plan includes regular exercise, and many fitness experts agree that bananas are an ideal source of pre- and post-workout fuel. The reason: They're rich in glucose. The easily digestible sugar not only provides optimal energy for your exercise class, but it also quickly replenishes energy stores that are depleted during a tough sweat session. Another reason bananas make for a great recovery snack? They're rich in potassium, an electrolyte that wards off post-pump muscle cramps and dizziness, that's often lost through sweat. Pair the fruit with a source of muscle-building protein like a tablespoon of almond butter or a hard-boiled egg to ensure your tired body receives the recovery nutrients it needs.

2. They Diminish Appetite

…So long as you nosh on green nanners, at least! Prior to ripening, bananas are rich in something called resistant starch, which, as the name suggests, literally resists the digestion process. This feeds healthy bacteria that live in your gut, producing compounds that have been found to suppress the appetite and lead to more efficient fat oxidation.

They Boost Metabolism

A study in the journal Nutrition & Metabolism found that replacing just 5 percent of the day's carbohydrates with a source of resistant starch can boost post-meal fat burn by 23 percent! Since underripe bananas are a bit bitter, we suggest adding them into a smoothie with other fruits and veggies to mask the taste. Green bananas also taste great in a yogurt parfait with cinnamon, raspberries, chopped nuts, and a touch of honey.

4. They're Natural Bloat Banishers

Constantly feeling bloated? Reach for a banana. Researchers say the fruit is a good source of prebiotic fiber, which helps to feed good gut bacteria and improve digestion. Bananas are also a good source of potassium, which helps diminish water retention. In fact, one study in Anaerobe found that women who ate a small banana twice a day as a pre-meal snack for two months reduced their belly-bloat by 50 percent! If you decide to follow suit, just be sure to cut back on sugar and carbs elsewhere in your diet. Once you've kicked the bloat to the curb, your hard-earned abs are sure to shine through.

5. They're Low in Pesticides

Thanks to their thick peel, bananas typically carry very few pesticide residues compared to other fruits and veggies, which is good news for your health and your waistline. Experts say that consuming pesticides can cause weight gain, which is why they're often referred to as "obesogens." It's likely because the toxins—which are stored in fat cells after consumption—interfere with the energy-burning process.

Swap your daily apple, peach, or nectarine (three fruits that almost always test positive for pesticide residue) for a banana to lower your exposure and start losing weight.

Clean eating now considered a “dangerous fad” by nutritionally illiterate doctors

Clean eating has become a way of life for many people around the world. This way of eating focuses on consuming whole foods that are not processed or refined; this can be anything that is as close to its natural form as possible, like fresh produce and raw nuts. This is an undeniably healthy way of eating – and there are plenty of studies that back this – so why are some doctors calling it a dangerous fad?
In a recent piece for the Daily Mail, Dr. Max Pemberton rakes clean eating over the coals. He talks about patients who are emaciated, describing them using frightening terms and explaining in great detail about how their bones are sticking out, their necks can’t support their heads, and their bodies are eating their own muscles. He talks about young girls whose reproductive systems have stopped working and who have developed osteoporosis, bleeding throats and lost teeth.
This is certainly an outcome that no one wants, but what he is describing here are people who have eating disorders, not people who focus on eating clean foods. The desire to eat healthy is not disordered eating, and lumping the two together is dangerous as it may give those who prefer to eat junk food an excuse to continue on their path to diabetes, obesity, and early death.
It’s particularly concerning when he writes: “The central tenet, the very nugget at the core of its belief system, is flawed. The very notion of ‘clean’ eating suggests that some food is dirty or bad — and this simply isn’t the case.”
Countless researchers would beg to differ. Some food really is bad, and it’s very irresponsible for a doctor to say that’s not the case. A trans fat-filled Burger King Triple Whopper, a sugar-laden venti Starbucks Frappuccino, and a can of corrosive Coca-Cola are just a few of the “bad” foods that come to mind.
He closed his piece with another gem: “But be under no illusion: ‘clean eating’ is ugly, malevolent and damaging. The whole irony of the clean eating fad is that, despite what it purports to be, it’s fundamentally toxic.”
No, Dr. Pemberton, what’s toxic is high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, boxed macaroni and cheese, and GM soy.

Eating disorders and clean eating are not one and the same

He’s right that social media is causing all sorts of eating problems for people, from constant images of bodies most normal people can never hope to attain to round-the-clock posts of the latest meals, healthy or otherwise, that everyone on your friends list is eating. But blogs about clean eating are not telling young women to head to the bathroom and vomit up their lunch if they slip up.
Of course, some people take it too far. People who are prone to eating disorders can – and often do – start out by eating healthy in an attempt to lose weight. If a person has underlying issues, there is no doubt that this could well lead to obsessions over healthy food and body weight and end up becoming a full-fledged eating disorder.
But there are also countless people who have committed to giving up processed foods in the interest of being healthy, and most of them can enjoy a piece of cake on their birthday without feeling compelled to stick their fingers down their throat afterward. Most clean eaters do not have any sort of eating disorder or mental illness and will never develop one. They are simply eating a healthy diet, which is something that more responsible doctors encourage their patients to do.
It’s true that some people who have eating disorders might hide behind an interest in only consuming healthy foods so family and friends won’t interfere with their habits. Having an eating disorder is a very serious problem that absolutely needs to be addressed, but suggesting that clean eating and bulimia are one and the same and that there is no such thing as “bad” food is incredibly irresponsible.

Researchers find that frequently eating french fries doubles the risk of death

The more fried potatoes you eat, the higher your chances of death. That was the conclusion researchers came to at the end of their study, which has been published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. According to the researchers, people who ate fried potato products, like french fries, tater tots, and hash browns, more than twice a week significantly increased their mortality risk.
For their study, the researchers carefully tracked the eating habits of 4,440 people, between the ages of 45 to 79 years old, over an eight-year period. During the course of the study, a total of 236 participants died. The researchers turned to the food frequency questionnaires the participants answered, and from there they found that the majority of these participants frequently consumed fried potatoes. Conversely, the researchers noted that potatoes prepared via other means (such as by steaming or roasting) were not associated with a greater risk of death. Additionally, fried potatoes by themselves were not stated to cause death.
Jessica Cording, a New York-based registered dietitian, told Yahoo.com that the findings were unsurprising. “Fried potatoes are a food that provides a lot of calories, sodium, and sometimes trans fat, but contributes minimal nutrition. They don’t actively do the body many favors in that respect,” Cording stated. (Related: Kids are engaging in dangerous diets where they go days without greens and depend on french fries as their only source of vegetables)

What makes fried potatoes dangerous?

Potatoes are relatively nutritious vegetables: They’re packed with fiber, potassium, magnesium, and even some antioxidants; they’re also devoid of fats, sodium, and cholesterol. This changes with the cooking and consumption methods, however. Frying and the quality of cooking oil used can greatly alter the nutritional value of potatoes.
Hydrogenated vegetable oils like corn and canola oil have polyunsaturated fats that degrade when constantly heated and reheated. These damaged fats are strongly linked to promoting inflammation within the body that becomes the starting point of a plethora of health problems. For foods like french fries, the hydrogenated oils are just the beginning: French fries themselves contain high glycemic carbohydrates that surge insulin into the bloodstream and bring in unhealthy fats. Moreover, the trans fats in french fries can increase the prevalence of heart diseases, as can the high amounts of sodium chloride.
Acrylamide is a more recent discovery but it adds to the dangers of fried potatoes. This substance forms in starchy foods that have been exposed to high-temperature cooking; specifically, when carbohydrates and the amino acid asparagine are cooked together. Acrylamide is considered both a carcinogenic and genotoxic substance, meaning that it has the potential to cause cancer and damage the genetic material of our cells. Unfortunately, acrylamide is plentiful in potatoes since these vegetables are full of asparagine and carbohydrates.
Reducing the potential hazards in fried potatoes is simple. Instead of swearing off french fries and hash browns forever, some simple steps can be taken to ensure that they’re healthier:
  • Use avocado oil or coconut oil for frying. These oils have no hydrogenated fats or trans fats, and they remain stable at high temperatures.
  • If you must add salt to your fried potatoes, opt for healthier varieties like Himalayan crystal salt. This particular kind of salt offers beneficial minerals you won’t find in regular table salt.
  • Roasting and baking are cooking methods that don’t require a lot of oil, making them the superior cooking methods over frying. If you can avoid the frying pan, do so and utilize your oven instead.

Home Remedies for Acid Reflux

Imbalance of digestive liquids in the stomach appears with the symptoms of bad breath, nausea, stomach ache, heartburn and common belch. Acid reflux equally affect both sexes, men and women and it is a sign that your body is asking for help. The main causes of having an acid stomach are eating too much spicy foods, bad eating habits, too much stress, consumption of alcohol excessively and eating almost zero amount of fresh fruits and veggies. However, there are several home remedies that are alkaline in nature and can help to solve this problem. Here is the list:

– Ginger:

Image result for pics of ginger
This healthy root can easily solve acid reflux while it stimulates the production of more saliva in your mouth. You can chew a few slices throughout the day or you can make a cup of ginger tea in the morning. Add some honey or lemon in your ginger remedy for a better taste.

– Basil Leaves:

Basil leaves contain compounds that stimulate mucus production, which is great for decreasing the level of acidity in your stomach. Rinse 5 to 7 basil leaves and chew them as soon as you finish lunch and dinner. To reduce abdominal pain and belch, blend 10 leaves with a cup of lukewarm water and drink it after your meals.

– Cloves:

Another way to elevate hydrochloric acid in the stomach is consuming cloves. Since low stomach acid can also be a reason for acidity, you can chew three cloves a day so that the herbal juice can release into your body.

– Cinnamon:

This incredibly healthy herb works as one of the best home remedies for acid reflux since it’s a antacid that dispels the accumulating gas in your stomach. Add a cup of cinnamon powder in you’re a cup of lukewarm water. You can also add a teaspoon of honey and drink the liquid before breakfast. The combination of cinnamon and honey helps to clean your intestines and relieves the symptoms of bloated stomach, gas and indigestion.

Does Your Food Have Light?

Image result for pics of fruit
What follows on the exceptionally complex subject of light and how it pertains to the body is a topical overview only. The information being provided I myself have researched for over 30 years and am still only scratching the surface. However, those referenced in the article and listed as resources are exactly unparalleled in their particular knowledge on such a vast subject. They are the intellectual phenomenons of our time, and all that has passed. It is through their unique work and experiences that we get to benefit from and are blessed with the opportunity to expound upon. So we are forever grateful for the Champions that have come before us. Perhaps it was best written by Sir Isaac Newton, “if I have seen farther than other men, it is because I stood on the shoulders of giants.”
On the subject of light as fuel, or food source, one would first need to comprehend the general composition or makeup of living beings, or the live body and mind. What causes us to be or not to be. One would also need to know, completely, that we human beings and animals included are electrical in Nature first before all else. There are numerous chemical processes that occur in the body yet they could not, and will not manifest, ever, without electricity, or light.
Remember, this is going to be a non specific on every point, yet profoundly detailed outline in some areas on such an extremely deep and crucial topic. To me, there is no greater subject matter, at all.
The Exquisite Living Being And Our Properties
The human body is known to be made up of 70-100 trillion cells, 100,000,000,000,000. 70-100 trillion cells performing innumerable functions with 12-13 we can clearly identify. Each cell has a digestive system, a respiratory system, circulatory system, excretory system and 8, possibly 9 more, precisely like the body as a unit. We are a summation of these cells and their individual processes. These cells are us and we are them.
Every single cell in our bodies of the 70-100 trillion, are also intelligently designed to operate on-20 millivolts of electricity.
“The negative charge is the spark of life.” ~Dr. Robert Young M.D.
Crucial to each cell will be the mineral rich water that should surround it. Such as babies in the womb being encapsulated in salt water from a healthy mother. When a healthy infant is born they are known to be about 90% water as a whole, even the blood being over 93% water itself. Upon our passing, humans have proven to be somewhere around 30–35%. With this dehydration also comes a greatly reduced ability to function via each cells failing electrical potential. Knowing this, those seeking perfect or betterment of health, even to become stronger, ought to endeavor to enliven the fluids around each and every cell. Thereby the pure fluids become the majority of our cells, remembering that even our blood is about 93% water, or should be. Enlivening the cells requires electricity as does the water which feeds them.
“The only way to build healthy blood is to consume the right types of fats and the right types of greens.” ~Dr. Robert Young
What must be mentioned here is that the Sun and the magnificent energy emitted from it is the cause of all life on the planet. The Sun is the most powerful form of electricity known to man. The topic of electricity is built upon the Sun. And as I have come to know the first Christians were known as helio-gnostics, or, knowers of the Sun. Many of the largest religions today are seemingly based in knowledge of the Sun. Enormous monuments are and have been erected showing respect and admiration for this electric disk in the sky. Even the horrific sacrifice of life as an offering, all have embodied the Sun. Sir Walter Russell determined that the light of the Sun is pure intellect and many prominent researchers feel the Sun is in fact conscious and aware of itself.
“the Sun, the star in their movie, the most important thing in the life of every one of us”
~Gregory Sams, researcher and author “The Sun of god”
Back though to our cells. For more information on the Sun, the references provided at the end of the article are compulsory reading as they are some of the foremost authorities on this material and the essence of life itself I feel.
To measure the voltage within the cells one would need to determine the potential hydrogen, or PH of the fluids surrounding them. Every fluid in our bodies can be measured by the scale below.
PH 0 7 14
Voltage + 400 0 (mv) -400 (mv)
Any fluid below 7 would be seeking to steal electrons and have varying levels of acidity depending on the actual potential of its hydrogen. Hydrogen is simply another term for acid. Fluids higher than 7 are seeking, or at the least capable of being an electron donor, which is equal to alkaline. I will note here that calcium is the most alkaline substance on the planet, and does not move. The most acidic being refined sugar, which is sulfuric acid and travels at the speed of light. Sulfuric acid, or sugar, also explodes and destroys proteins. You are in part, proteins.
Information I research indicates that when the cells, you and I, begin to lose voltage, we malfunction, and if the voltage proceeds low enough our DNA begins to become damaged.
Astute researchers surmise that while our bodies cells operate on -20 milivolts, if we begin to lose electrical potential and get to -15 we become lethargic. At -10mv the person would become ill, and minus 5mv our glands and organs will stop working. If the cells go into a reversal of polarity +5, +10 or +15 mv, it would be akin to placing the batteries in a flashlight incorrectly and they will not function, at all. This is said to be where the damage to our DNA and what we pass on to our offspring occurs.
Pain, infections, lack of oxygen, and cellular expiration, or death, take place when the fluids of the body are in this acidic and unlit state.
“Restore your voltage for powers to rebuild and heal.” ~Dr. Jerry Tennant M.D.
The cells in our bodies have the ability to regenerate. For instance the gastrointestinal cells have the ability to regenerate every 2–3 days, the cells of the eyes, every 36 hours, etc. This Author is not referring to stem cell research at all. What we are asserting is to provide the body with the raw materials it needs such as vitamins, minerals, pure water, along with the light from the Sun to grow matter, and to keep the cells in an alkaline state.
So the question then becomes how do we alkalize our bodies and perhaps the even larger one, why is this not common knowledge and made so difficult to discover? This writer will answer the first part and leave it to the reader to perhaps draw their own conclusions as to the rest.
The following statement is one of the most profound ever espoused on this subject matter in our time period, maybe ever. It would be next to impossible to articulate it any better. It would do anyone well to truly comprehend and apply this message.
“The energy that the body uses is in the form of an electron; Electrons are electrical charges. Our bodies conduct electricity, we eat food for that electrical potential, that is the only reason. Nutrients, are the carriers of that electrical potential which our bodies feed on, we are electrical light beings. And the matrix by which that energy travels, is salt.”
~Dr. Robert Young
Many more research scientist and the like now are concluding this same wisdom about our electrical light bodies. 25 years ago speaking about this and writing papers on it in college resorted to being snickered at, not so much anymore.
It is from alkalizing foods that light (electricity) is generated, and was also created.
So those that know will apply verified wisdom, ingesting food and select it as a fuel only for the electrical potential, or light it contains. We seek sources of food containing nutrients, things that contain light and that are light. We seek vitamin and mineral rich sources of fuel that harness power. Meanwhile, the vast majority of our entire society entirely misled to focus on calories. Protein, fiber, carbohydrates, enzymes, macros and micros etc, all the lowest level of the tower. To become alkaline disregard the number of calories and concern yourself with the quality of them. Because this is all that matters, the quality of the fuel one is ingesting after eliminating that which is not.
Is the food and light you are taking in to your body strengthening your fluids, or smothering them in acid, becoming the acid. How about the lights people sit under at work or home? Because artificial, man made blue light and fluorescent fixtures are electron stealers. They take life and give you nothing in return. The detrimental effects that these forms of light, particularly the ones that contain the fluorine gas such as fluorescent bulbs would be indescribable in only a few words and is a subject all to itself.
“Humans are the only species bright enough to make artificial light and stupid enough to live under it” -Dr. Jack Kruse
Voluminous amounts of research is available for those interested and of course there is always solutions.
Becoming alkaline is to move towards the alkaline elements such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and to eat the Sun, and only the food it produces. The Sunlight is in pure food. The human body is designed to be alkaline, yet all of our countless processes are acidifying. So we are in a recovery state at all times. This is fine as long as we are replete with the energy that these processes, even the good ones, are aiming to steal.
And the Primary Source for this energy is again the photon energy we are able to receive from the Sun.
The same Sun that we all seem to take for granted and forget about, just expecting it to be there. The Sun that I know nothing about yet read everything I can pertaining to it, because I know that it is the cause of all life.
“by its usage, by its familiarity, it actually becomes invisible to us”
~Michael Tsarion
In conclusion here are a few fascinating facts about the Sun along with some of the largest names in the Universe that sadly the vast majority of our civilization will never come to know.
“Imagine an explosion with more power than a million volcanoes, that instantly hurtles north american sized chunk of suns surface into the air at speeds of many hundreds of kilometers per second, this can be the power of a single solar flare, another phenomena considered to be controlled by the corona of the Sun. During periods of sun spot activity active regions of the sun can lose several flares a day, for weeks on end. Over a million mega tons of pure light energy is released every second from the Sun. Can you imagine this, one megaton is the energy released by a million tons of TNT, so this a million times that, each and every second.”
~Gregory Sams Book, Sun of god

Top Foods to Avoid with High Blood Pressure

In America, almost one in three adults are living with high blood pressure, that’s why the topic of dietary recommendations for high blood pressure is becoming more and more popular these days. What causes high blood pressure? Normally not consuming enough vegetables and fruits can result in a high sodium intake and low potassium intake, which can contribute to developing high blood pressure. So with high blood pressure, you are recommended to have a diet low in sodium and fat, avoid these foods:
  • Pickles
